WORLD DISEASE
A downloadable game for Windows
Purpose, functionalities: (actions are done with the mouse, we choose the action, then the continent on which to apply it)
THE PURPOSE IS TO NOT REACH THE FATIDE THRESHOLD OF 50% DEAD IN THE WORLD, OR TO CURE ALL THE SICK!
The game is inspired by the principle of Plague Inc, but here the goal is to save as many people as possible from a pandemic. All actions are based on the continent's infection rate, once people are dead, they are no longer counted in the 'infected', but in the 'dead'. (this is of strategic importance)
you have 4 possible actions: 4 constraints
-Prohibit flights from the infected continent, possible if more than 10% of the population is infected
-Contain the spread by isolating people, possible if more than 1% of the population is infected
-Vaccination of the population, possible if more than 20% of the population is infected,
if the contamination exceeds 20%, then we start manufacturing the vaccine, manufacturing and vaccination have variable durations according to the continents, the density of the population, etc.
-The Nuclear bomb, possible if more than 25% of the population is infected.
as said above, the calculations are made on the number of infected by continent, and the dead are counted as infected, so we can play on the number of dead to reduce the number of infected, the only drawback is that we must pay attention to the death rate in the world!
The game ends, when the rate of infected in all continents drops to 0, or the death rate worldwide reaches 50%.
